Beginning of a New Era – Faith

It requires faith to see the unseen. It requires faith in a big God to dream big. It requires faith to speak into the atmosphere and see things change.

We may have entered a new era or a new season in our life but if we don’t have faith, we wouldn’t be able to see it and hence will be living in the past season with the old thought process.

Our God is a God who calls things that are not as thought they were. Romans 4:17.

According to Hebrews 11:1, Faith is being sure of what we hope for. It is being sure of what we do not see.

I pray that as you read this blog God the Holy Spirit will kindle and reawaken your faith to see as God sees you and your current season.

We have been listening from a very long time that we are living in an unprecedented time. Let me assure you that we are living in a time where God is moving and working in a new way.

God is raising up a new generation and an army that will partner and co-labour with Heaven to see that the Kingdom of God invades the earth.

The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

When we become aware of what God is doing in this new era, we will align ourselves to the plans and strategies of Heaven with faith. Heaven is celebrating and rejoicing now because in faith we have come into an agreement with the will of God.

It was one of those normal days of prayer in our church during July 2020 and my mom was sharing from 1 Kings 18:2-4. This passage talks about a man named Obadiah who greatly feared God despite working for an evil king and his evil wife who was slaughtering the prophets of God. It also says that there was a severe famine in Samaria, but Obadiah chose to Preserve, Protect and Provide for hundred prophets with food and water. Because he was able to see in faith that a new era is birthing where people will publicly declare “The Lord, He is God!” and the drought will come to an end.

This character from the Bible challenged me in a very impactful way that I was restless and sleepless for many days. God stirred our heart for the men and women of God working in rural India for the Gospel of His Kingdom to be preached. In India, most of the pastors and missionaries step out into ministry in faith without any financial assistance from any organization and they solely are supported by the tithes and offerings of the local church believers. Due to this pandemic, there were no church gatherings, which means there is no provision for these men and women of God through their regular source. Being a worship leader and song writer, I had this thought of raising awareness of this community of prophets, evangelists, pastors, and missionary families who are in need by hosting online worship concerts and worship webinars for this cause.

Somehow, we simply wanted to mobilize the church of India to stand with these precious servants of God at this moment and become Obadiah’s of our generation. I called up few of my friends and shared the burden with them. This began a faith journey called Obadiah Project (you can check the website for more details Our vision is to preserve, protect and provide for the men and women of God who have committed their lives to proclaim the gospel of Jesus in the rural parts of India. Our desire is to support five hundred families.

God enabled our team to provide financial assistance to 147 pastors and missionary families until now i.e., September 12, 2020.  With faith we can see that this project will accomplish the will of God and fulfil its purpose.

I completely believe as you step up with faith because Faith without action is dead, the Lord will give you the abilities and the required favour to accomplish the God-given tasks over your life.

We know this for sure that we have entered a new era in India and globally where God will add new people into His kingdom and strengthen His church and all these five hundred men and women of God who are hidden now in different parts of India and they will lead and shepherd the new believers who will confess that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.

Faith can move mountains. Praise can change the atmosphere.

  1. Thank you…my journey is long, hard and confusing. As a believer I feel forgotten. I needed this… more than you know.
